Try running the data through the Delaunay 3D filter. No need to subclass 
anything.

There are several ways to create a mesh filling a solid cube in ParaView. I 
think the easiest is to use the Wavelet source. After you create it, change the 
representation from Outline to Surface to render it as a solid.
