Ken/Rich, This is actually expected behavior that I have noticed before. If we contoured on a variable, that variable is now a constant for this surface. Thus, it is useless. I don’t know if we still should pass it on, but we don’t.

I believe Alan is right. The cell to point operation performs something of a low pass filtering of the data, meaning that extrema get smoothed out. It is entirely possible that is happening here.
