I discovered that if you plot a selection created by the find data dialog it grabs statistics for you. Try this:
1. Open Find Data. 2. Make a selection that selects everything. Like ID >= -1. 3. Run the Selection Query. 4. Click on Plot Selection Over Time. 5. The resulting plot will have a ton of series. You will notice that most have names like max(variable), min(variable), avg(variable), etc. Turn off all the series and then turn on the one that is the max of the variable you want to see. It seems like there should be a filter that just makes this plot over time on all variables of a dataset, but I could not find one. I recommend creating a feature request. -Ken From: <Scott>, Walter Scott <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Date: Tuesday, March 11, 2014 11:04 AM To: "[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>" <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Subject: [EXTERNAL] [Paraview] Plot maximum over time Is there a paraview filter or other tool to plot a variable maximum over time?
