Utkarsh, thanks for the advice. I had already installed from the ubuntu
apt-get install system. Thus I didn't use the patch file you suggested.
I will try and do a re-build from the source file once more and let you
know of the outcome.

directory. I suspect Xdmf is accidentally including the wrong zlib
header (using system version rather than the one built by
VTK/ParaView).
