Hi Noah, Those first few instructions kind of test whether you need to do any of the rest. You won't be able to run X until you have completed the instructions in one of the sections beneath the "Introduction". Pick the section that most closely resembles the image you're working with and go through those instructions before attempting to run X or glxinfo.
