You can use the "Find Data" dialog to select all elements with a particular field value as well as many other selection criteria. This feature is documented in the most recent version of both the ParaView Tutorial (http://www.paraview.org/Wiki/The_ParaView_Tutorial) and the ParaView Guide (http://www.paraview.org/paraview-guide/). Both are available for free, and "find data" is referenced in the index of each.

My goal is to use ParaView to visualize the results of several simulations in parallel, with each process handling the visualization of a single simulation. Along that same line, is there a way ParaView can make each process look into a different directory of simulation data so I can accomplish this? Thanks, Krishna Pai
