Hello I have an FEM simulation, mostly based on Numpy. The simulation happens on a tetrahedral mesh and generates data for multiple time steps. There are less than several million nodes.
Currently I'm not sure to which file format I should output my simulation results in order to visualize with Paraview. I'm looking for a well documented format that can handle time steps and tetrahedral meshes. PVD as well as VTK formats seem to be not very well documented, unfortunately. I do not mind to implement the file writer by myself as this can easily be done in Python. Best regards, Michael
