Ah, excellent, so we already have our volunteer. I saw your posts on packaging, Michael, but didn't know you had taken over maintenance of SUSE packages for Parrot. Much appreciated.
I'm planning on setting up an automatic update from git/svn in a different project, so that we always a current build of parrot and rakudo.
This will be an enormous help. That way, when we come up on a "supported" release (1.4, 2.0, 2.6) that would be a candidate for inclusion in the distribution, we will have had plenty of testing (and plenty of opportunity to fix any problems) before the release is cut.
Does the spec file currently in ports/suse/parrot.spec.suse match the one you're using? If not, would you be willing to contribute your changes back?
