Understood. However, in the case of

I tried that route (adding a comment to the ticket) about 4 months ago and
got nowhere. Today, I thought I'd try redirecting the question to the
parrot-dev mailling list to see if there were any responses. My intention
is to summarize the useful results back in TT #549 once discussion has
completed.
