I'm not sure it's anything. But it has changed recently -- roughly since
the time the announcements about the new cert went out -- so I kind of
suspect that maybe someone "cleaned up" some settings while they were in
the config files.

Are you sure it's the list server. It seems to me that there are few
delays but I was really paying attention.
It also seems to me that Yahoo! mail is a little flaky. I am
subscribed to some groups on Yahoo! and they don't seem to be
delivered in a timely manner. Some are delayed several days.
