Howdy, I am also still seeing the signal 10 error on darwin, for example:
http://smolder.plusthree.com/app/public_projects/report_details/27120#first_failure I am inclined to believe that this is a GC bug that is perhaps only being triggered on darwin, perhaps due to differences with Apple's gcc. This is purely speculation at this point.
