Excellent point. In this case, I'd recommend pushing this back a few weeks before the stable release... making next week's initial kickoff (if we go that route) the first on a mostly regular schedule. I do not think that all concerns were necessarily represented in the last meeting, nor do I think we can get all parties in a room every year due to time/budget/personal constraints. I think if there are issues that require further discussion, then we need to get those on the mailing list in advance of any meeting (online or in person).
