Hello. immutable_strings_part1 branch is ready to merge back to trunk (right after 2.3 release because of deprecations). Testers are welcome.
Main changes: - all string are immutable now; - ... - Profit! (Removing deprecated ops, take more advantage of immutability of strings, etc, aren't in scope of this branch.
