I get the sense there's an expectation that rakudo should always build
and run cleanly against parrot head.
While this would be nice, I don't see this as the main point of this
discussion.
To me the most important point is that a deprecation notice is useless
to the user, unless an alternative is already avaialabe at the time when
the notice is published.
