I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean here. Getting the
architecture name is useful for more than just JIT, so I'm a little
puzzled. Do you mean merge the tickets (can you do that in Trac?) ?
Or do you mean replacing the current wrong solaris-specific code with
a more general architecture probe? I'm in favor of general solutions,
so that would make sense to me. In any case, the current
solaris-specific check is wrong and should be deleted.
