Currently there is a function called dump_string in the parrot debugger
that is not used, but it is presumably useful when debugging. It has the
last occurence of ->strstart in the debugger.
It should it either be documented and tested, so that I can modify it and
be sure that I am not breaking it, or be removed.
I am not really attached to either path.
What shall we do?
