Comment:
This code has not been cleaned up significantly as I had suggested. I am
going to drop the priority/severity of this ticket since we are obviously
doing fine without implementing these changes. We will start to see a
little bit more pain when we want to add new systems and architectures to
the list of Parrot's supported platforms, but we can deal with the issue
then.
