I don't necessarily disagree with that -- but that would be scope-creep
with respect to this TT. In this TT (which started out as a GCI task),
we're focusing on those targets that are listed in `make help`. What you
are looking for would be a much broader review of the ''Makefile''. If
you want that, I would recommend opening a new ticket. (But, frankly, I
think that would be a low-priority item and I myself would not assume the
task anytime soon.)
