I suspect the code at issue in PCT::HLLCompiler will remain in place for
the foreseeable future; I think this note was put in place as a potential
deprecation. Since I doubt things will change anytime soon, I think we
could close this ticket (as 'wontfix' or 'invalid' or 'fixed' or...
whatever).
