I don't see anything in the spec that requires a value for it. I also wouldn't be surprised if there was code out there that assumed it was always 2. After letting this sit for all this time, I'm a bit more reluctant to take this kind of change, unless the system that needs it is in widespread use. -- Brian C. Lane (PST8PDT)
