I think we might write a draft here on the mailing list and then send
it later, in regarting to Parted Team, to the mailing list.
My idea is:
- use current lvm-tools code as initial base;
- move the command line utilities to another source;
- strip the code to remove application specific uses;
- build the tools using the library made by us;
I second this approach. :-) Anant, could you post a draft of your mail
on the parted-devel list?
