Hi All,
I used parted 1.8 to create a partition and do some
I/O on a raw device exported by a SAN.
The question here is : -
1) If a use the same device on some other machine ...
i.e. i expose the same device to some other machine
... will i be able to see the fs and the partition ??
If yes, then i don't observe this behaviour. Can
anyone comment on this behaviour.
2) If i reboot the machine and then also i don't see
the partition and the fs. In the fdisk output i don't
see the file system, i only see it as a raw device ...
just as it was before using parted on it.
Kindly comment.
