Do you guys prefer somewhere > > else?). The "official" alternative command-line interface to libparted is GNU fdisk (http://www.gnu.org/software/fdisk). If I'm not wrong, the cfdisk component of GNU fdisk offers a curses-based interface to libparted. While we do encourage projects to use libparted; I would personally advise you to help out with fdisk instead. Of course you could always try and convince us as to why the GNT based solution is better: What advantages does it offer? Does it make something easier to do? While it is good to have several alternative interfaces to parted; it's only good if they offer significantly different features than the rest and is suited for a specific environment (like GParted and QtParted). Anyway, this is only my personal opinion and hence "off the record". Don't take me too seriously ;) .
