To wake up the programmer using libparted, do you still want to use ped_exception_throw to display an exception of type INFORMATION, or want to use something different?
The exception will disturb the user in a way that is not acceptable. We want to wake up the programmer, not the user, and this is best done at compile time.
If the distribution has a copy of libparted compiled with -DDEPRECATED_20, then how will we alert the user of the library if he is using the deprecated functions? I am not an expert with Autoconf/Automake, so does it have something to do with them? Happy hacking, Debarshi -- Universities are places of knowledge. The freshman each bring a little in with them, and the seniors take none away, so knowledge accumulates. _______________________________________________ parted-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/parted-devel
