Can the dependency on CHECK be relaxed a bit. eg., if it is not

I am suggesting this because the Fedora repositories do not have a
version of CHECK >= 0.9.4. The latest is 0.9.3
(http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/5/i386/os/repodata/repoview/check-devel-0-0.9.3-4.fc5.2.html).
This is causing the configure script to fail since 0.9.4 is the
minimum required version.
Although this is more of a problem with Fedora's repositories, but it
would be nice if Parted maneged to fix it on its end. :-)
I agree that check shouldn't be forced. But another question, why are
you still running FC5? Upgrade to FC6 or rawhide if you're doing
development work. Once the next release of FC is out, we won't be doing
updates for FC5.
