The following is an addition to my previous patch-set. I have changed some patches slightly so it would be wise to just ignore my previous post (nobody commented on it anyway, so I think there is no problem) * Regarding the mdadm test: I decided to add some functions to lvm-util.sh (I found it the easiest solution). While it works correctly the name that that file has becomes somewhat confusing. I would rather call it utils-common.sh (or something similar). But I would leave that change for a time after the next branch is merged with master. * Regarding the doc changes: I think the change reflects the behavior of mkpart much better. I did not change mkpartfs because we are going to get rid of that thing anyway. So with the objective of discouraging the use of mkpartfs, I don't mind the docs being a little broken. * Regarding the 1.9.0 release, I think that, with these patches, wa are at a point where we can think about releasing. The only thing missing is peer review for these patches and actually pushing them to master. As allways comments and corrections are greatly appreciated. Regards.
