I tried to build parted on Solaris 10 and got this:
configure: error: Unknown or unsupported OS "solaris2.10". \
Only "linux", "gnu" and "beos" are supported in this version of GNU
Parted.That's been there for years. It's currently required due to the arch-specific files in libparted/arch/*.c.
