I took your script, I had to make the following change to make it run fully. [rho...@maverick parted]$ diff autotools-install.old autotools-install 12c12 < ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/autoconf/autoconf-2.64.tar.gz --- > ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/autoconf/autoconf-2.64.tar.gz After running I tried to run ./bootstrap again. It again failed with the same errors. After that I set the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environ variable looking at the end of your script and also set the PATH variable accordingly, but still no success. Any pointers?
