Hi Mathijs, Sorry for this absurdly late reply -- I only just saw the message: http://lists.partiwm.org/pipermail/parti-discuss/2009-October/000298.html
Yes, the problem is that Xvfb has to be started with a particular "screen" size, and if you move windows outside of that then things will not work correctly. The old default was 2048x2048. Since your email, the default size has been changed to 3840x1920 -- hopefully that's big enough for your setup? The real solution, unfortunately, requires that someone implement the XRANDR extension in Xvfb. -- Nathaniel On Fri, May 1, 2009 at 6:55 AM, Mathijs Kwik <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > > I'm trying out xpra and I like it! > no more heavy nx stuff for me. > > The only problem I'm experiencing is that if I move an application > past some point (probably 2048) on the x -axis, I can't click anything > in the app anymore. > The mouse pointer still moves past that line, but on-mouse-over > buttons don't respond past that point. > > Maybe this has to do with xvfb being restricted to 2048 or something like > that? > > Anyway, I'm on Ubuntu 9.04 (tested 8.10 too) and I'm using the xmonad > window manager. > > Thanks, > Mathijs > > _______________________________________________ > Parti-discuss mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.partiwm.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/parti-discuss > _______________________________________________ Parti-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.partiwm.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/parti-discuss
