I think I may be able to save you some time here, my repo has binaries built from trunk (with a few extra patches I carry: jpeg compression, password login): http://winswitch.org/downloads/ You can find packages for Fedora, CentOS5, OpenSUSE, Debian, Ubuntu and an ebuild for Gentoo. (as well as installers for MSWindows and MacOSX - but there is no xpra-only installer for those platforms, not yet anyway)
