Now that the solution is validated, I have made a new CentOS build with
the fix included:
http://winswitch.org/dists/rpm/CentOS/5.5/x86_64/

As for the error connecting from Mac OS, there isn't enough debug
information shown to know what went wrong. Can you try to increase
logging at both ends and keep an eye on the server log file?
Does it show the window then disconnect or not connect at all?
