Not sure if we can vote on features on this list but this patch is something I would definitely use. I often want to generate passwords with metadata (username etc) and my workflow now is to generate the password first and then editing it right away. This also makes Git history weird that it’s not atomic change when I’m basically creating single entry.

There is a slight change to the previous patch, the extra information entered after the password (login, email, ...) is now displayed after the password generated when the password is shown. it allows to copy/paste easily in the account creation form on the web.
