I have a really cheap conexant capture card (Pixel PlayTVPro).
I could not get the v4l driver to work nor the v4l2 driver to work,
meanwhile I could startup tvtime and play a composite-input
playstation2 game.
All I would get would be a green screen, or black if I pass --use_rgb.

valgrind shows transcode memory leaks like it's having a siezure, but
that turned out to not be the specific cause here. After playing
around with the source code, I managed to get v4l2 video to work. I
then confirmed my patch after later finding some well documented
video4linux2 specifications.

This should also apply cleanly to 1.0.2 I do not remember seeing much
difference when I looked at 1.0.2.
