Category: Documentation Group: Python 2.5 >Status: Open >Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Daniele Varrazzo (dvarrazzo) Assigned to: Thomas Heller (theller) Summary: missing imports ctypes in documentation examples Initial Comment: The attached patch fixes a couple of missing imports in ctypes documentation examples. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Thomas Heller (theller) Date: 2006-11-02 21:03 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=11105 Unfortuately ;-), dvarrazzo is right. WinError is a symbol exported by ctypes. I'll update the docs. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Neal Norwitz (nnorwitz) Date: 2006-10-29 00:15 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=33168 Thanks for the patch. I think WinError is meant to be a user defined error. There isn't one in ctypes that I saw. So I left that part of the patch out. Instead of adding an import, I used UINT which was already imported and conformed to the prototype given above. Committed revision 52515. (2.5) Committed revision 52514.
