Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: Core (C code) Group: Python 2.6 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Anthony Baxter (anthonybaxter) Assigned to: Thomas Wouters (twouters) Summary: SyntaxWarning for backquotes Initial Comment: The following patch (for 2.6) issues a SyntaxWarning for backquotes/backticks in source code. I had to add the filename to struct compiling in Python/ast.c - this seems like the neatest way to get the filename passed around. (see also the XXX before ast_error) Assigned to twouters, since it was his idea in the first place. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=305470&aid=1631035&group_id=5470 _______________________________________________ Patches mailing list Patches@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/patches
