If I understand correctly, there will be a last v3.3 release on the Django-based code with the current pending patches after v3.2 plus additional fixes/features that were sent on the mailing list but not applied yet (https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/project/patchwork/list/ is completely unreachable at the moment unfortunately, so I cannot check). Stephen is currently unavailable but he told me he would resume work in September. After this, I don't know what will happen exactly, but the 3.x branch will surely be maintained for bug fixes until the 4.x branch is stabilized enough. Are you considering testing the 4.x beta version?
