The September PatternFly Monthly Report highlighted the PatternFly design repo <https://github.com/patternfly/patternfly-design> and we are proud to share the initial growth in activity surrounding this effort. Comparing October to September, we saw a 50% increase in stars, 67% increase in total contributors and a 240% increase in total pull requests. You can see more details regarding these metrics below under "October Metrics". Thank you to everyone who has jumped on board to this new process. In October, we also started the PatternFly Slack <https://patternfly.slack.com/> channel. We already have 64 members and have seen a lot of great conversations and collaboration as a result. We have no plans of getting rid of our #patternfly channel on freenode <https://webchat.freenode.net/> at this time, however we do point to the Slack channel as our primary place for conversation. PatternFly was recognized at a couple of conferences in October.
