OOPSLA is again delighted to announce the availability of
scholarships for educators from 2- and 4-year colleges to
attend OOPSLA 2005 and its Educators' Symposium. These
scholarships are sponsored by the ACM Special Interest
     Group on Programming Languages (SIGPLAN).

     Scholarship recipients receive:
        - Registration to the OOPSLA 2005 conference.
        - Registration to the OOPSLA 2005 Educators' Symposium.
        - Registration to 1 full-day tutorial, or 2 half-day
          tutorials, at the conference.
        - Reimbursement for transportation and accommodation
expenses up to a maximum of $600 (within North America)
or $900 (outside of North America).

This year's Educators Symposium offers an exciting program
aimed at helping OO educators and trainers do their jobs
better. We are excited to welcome Ward Cunningham as our
keynote speaker this year. Ward is the person behind many
of the ideas and tools we all use and take for granted,
including object-oriented programming, CRC cards, patterns,
wiki, extreme programming, test-first design, and FIT. We
also have a strong set of paper presentations, posters and
     software demos, and group activities.
