Light experience with products is OK, but programming experience is a must. The candidate must possess 3+ years of hands on experience in design, engineering & development of Network Management infrastructure for small to large scale enterprises utilizing industry leading products like EMC SMARTS, InfoVista or Alterpoint.The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of either of these products as well as experience in certifying & deploying new versions & hot-fixes, developing custom reports using InfoVista VV Libraries. The candidate must be able to certify & customize these products for production use, develop inter-product integration or automate manual work-flows using combination of Java, Perl, Shell Scripts, HTML ASL or any other industry leading programming languages. Working experience with Redhat Linux is must. Hands-on experience with Alterpoint, VMware, Oracle and MS-SQL is a plus. Strong knowledge of Cisco is beneficial, CCNA or CCNP is a definite plus. Comprehensive knowledge of emerging network & voice technologies and protocols is plus. - The candidate is expected to be innovative, dynamic, flexible and a quick-learner with strong communicational, organizational, interpersonal & leadership skills. - The work is highly technical, demanding and diverse, hence the successful candidate would be dedicated, multi-tasker & comfortable in engineering in a large scale IT environment including hands-on development, technical design and service delivery. - Strong project and self management skills are desired.
