*Client - Barclays* *Role – QA Manager* *Length – 6 months +* *Location – NYC* *Rate - $580/day* Candidate will be responsible for managing the overall Testing coordination for the Cost Basis project, with QA and UAT leads reporting in status from different areas. In addition, the candidate will lead the QA work stream, manage environmental related activity within the test environments and assist the Project Manager with other crucial project initiatives. The candidate will be replacing an existing contractor. Candidate must have experience with the coordination of Testing initiatives across business units including a third party vendor. In addition the candidate must possess Project Management skills, as they will assist the Project Manager where necessary in areas such as Release Management, Phase 3 Scope and Analysis and a detailed Vendor review. Candidate is required to manage all aspects the QA work stream, coordinate environmental activity across all test regions, drive bug resolution and manage defect and status reporting utilizing support resources.
