* Position : Network Engineer* *Location : Phoenix, AZ* *Duration : 6 Months * *Interview : Phone Hire* * * *Requirements :* * * *Job Responsibilities* Specifically this position will: provide senior level technical expertise to plan, procure, install and implement communication systems networking solutions for DES at large. All of the core data systems that utilize DES networking facilities are monitored, modified/upgraded, maintained and/or installed to facilitate the most efficient and effective communications network. This position will monitor and diagnose problems related to the components of the network systems as well as continually evaluating the systems performance. This position will also have responsibilities to facilitate and work with other technical groups within DES as well as other agencies within the client or vendors on problem solving, solution implementation, or projects related to the communications network. • Perform network support and analysis in a multi-site environment focused primarily on Cisco routers and switches (IOS & NX-OS), Cisco UCS as well as F5 BIG-IP LTM’s and GTM’s • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN networking problems at all layers independently • Manage and maintain network add/move/changes across the enterprise including two data centers • Conduct network studies and performance analysis and recommend changes • Work with key platform vendors for support to resolve issues as well as platform strategy development • Interface frequently with cross discipline support teams - Helpdesk, VMware, SAN, and Server - to provide network support and design recommendations • Develop and maintain key network documents and processes • Participate and design new projects as needed • Perform proactive network testing to ensure network is functioning and reliable • Maintain network add/move/changes for enterprise including two data centers • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN networking problems at all layers independently • Work with vendors for support to resolve issues/platform strategy development • Interface w/support teams to provide network support and design recommendations -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Visa Transfer OPT, CPT, PT, H1,H4" group.
