*Position : Business Objects Developer* *Location : Atlanta, GA* *Duration : 6+ Months* *Interview : Phone Hire* * * *Requirements :* Senior level Business Objects Developer and Analyst with a reliable, go to type personality who can get the work done with minimal supervision. Quick learner who is comfortable absorbing large amounts of information in a relatively short span of time, who has multiple years of experience working directly with the business in documenting and understanding business reporting requirements, acting as a liaison as required between the Business and DWH teams to get to the “right” business solution for the company. Resource will be responsible for Business Objects technical development required to deliver the end solution. Resource would preferably have background in standard architecture and BO delivery methodologies and best practices. *TECHNICAL SKILLS :* 1) 6+ years’ experience in developing BO universes (not just enhancing existing universes but developing new universes) and reports 2) Development experience with BOXIR3 Web Intelligence is a must 3) Experience with preparing report specifications/report design documents 4) Strong SQL writing and tuning skills 5) Knowledge and understanding of Data warehousing concepts 6) PLUS (but not required): 1. 2+ years’ experience in administering Business Objects installations and using Central Management Console (CMC) for tasks such as a) Managing user rights, groups, permissions b) Scheduling reports, publications c) Auditing d) Trouble shooting server issues e) Installing service packs on the server f) Performing sizing and capacity assessments 2. 1+ years’ experience in developing dashboards and reports using Logi Info Studio.
