***********HIGHLY CRITICAL**************** * * Position : Java Developer** Location : Charlotte, NC** Duration : 6+ Months** Interview : Phone/Skype Hire** * * Requirements :** Job Description—** Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining a high business priority application. Software developers design, code, test, debug, document programs, participate in code reviews. Developers will work closely with other developers and business analysts in defining or refining requirements for system design. Developers may pair program on complex issues and become involve in the deployment of the application to the different environments. Developers are expected to have sufficient depth of experiences in frontend and backend technologies such that they can move through the application with the different work assignments. In some cases the person is expected to mentor associate developers. Key Responsibilities :** * * · Design and develops highly complex business solutions using a suite of technologies to include Java, JavaScript, JBoss, and MicroStrategy. · Perform debugging, troubleshooting, modification and unit of business intelligence solution. · Ensure compliance with technical standards and consistency with long term architecture plans. · Participate in product backlog grooming · Create and execute unit tests, test scripts, and SQL tests based upon requirements specifications. · Mentor team members as they learn different aspects of the application · Support user, performance and regression testing efforts Qualifications :** * * · 4 year degree (Computer Science, information Systems, or relational function field)** · *5+ years hands-on experience with Java programming language. * · *3+ years of direct experience using MicroStrategy SDK, Reports, and Command Manager for business intelligence solutions.* · Very strong thirst for learning existing technologies. · Strong knowledge of Agile Software Development methodology · Very strong SQL skills with the ability to optimize, analyze, and improve database SQL performance on any platform.
