*Position : JAVA Developer Location : Paramus, NJ Duration : 6+ Months Phone then F2F Note : Communications Skills should be strong* *Skills Required* · *Core Java* – solid foundation using Java as it relates to web technologies · *JSP UI* ( struts, MVC Framework specifically not from a Spring, Swing or Hibernate framework) . So this is really key for us. We specifically use the *struts MVC framework* and no other frameworks. The candidate must be able to clearly articulate the struts *MVC framework* specifically with java beans, tag libraries. The tag libraries should not include JSTL. It should not be experience related to writing scriptlets on the JSP. · *JavaScript *– used extensively and they need to have sufficient experience with it · *JQuery *– also used extensively in our UI pages · *AJAX* – need to articulate clearly how it is implemented and used. · *Web Services* -both types of implementations of it SOAP and Restful. They should have experience as the consumer and producer of web services. · *EJB *– we use mostly 3.0 version now but still have 1.0 versions still running in production · *Linux –* need to be able to move around the system · *WebLogic application server* – primary application server used but we do have some minor applications running on JBoss. *Details of Position:* · Person will be responsible for Design, coding, unit testing of Java based application changes to new and existing JavaScript UI pages as well as JAVA components that · link the UI to various back end systems. · Person will also participate in integration, system, performance testing and product test defect resolution. *Management Skills:* · Candidate needs to have excellent communication and organizational skills. · Needs to be able to work well in a team oriented environment, be flexible and adjust to a fast paced, dynamic project management environment.
