*Job Description:*
We are looking for a Application Developer for a long term contract with
our client in Center City Philadelphia. They will be working on a small
team of well-rounded developers, on enhancements to financial applications
for our investment management client. This person will have a good deal of
autonomy over each enhancement project, and be tasked with handling all
aspects of the development.
*Experience Required*
- Minimum 7 years experience in information technology as an application
developer, with at least 2 years in the Finance industry
- Programming experience:
- Experience coding in Transact-SQL, stored procedures, triggers and
analysis of query plans using Sybase 15 and/or SQL Server 2008
- Experience coding C#/.Net
- Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) tools (e.g. SSIS, Pervasive,
Informatica, etc)
- Reporting tools (e.g. Microstrategies)
- Batch Scheduling tools (e.g. Autosys, Control-M)
- Datamart/Business Intelligence (e.g. OLAP, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
- Microsoft frameworks including WPF, WCF, Silverlight, JQuery, and
ASP.Net
- Development of solutions using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Experience with enterprise integration using technologies such as
WebMethods or similar technology desirable
- Experience using IIS 6.0 and IIS 7.5 and familiarity with IIS
authentication mechanisms would be an advantage
- Experience with both agile and waterfall development models
- Experience coordinating with off-shore development teams is a plus
