* Position : SharePoint Developer * *Location : Seattle, WA * *Duration : 5+ Months Phone Hire !!!* *This is a SharePoint backend Developer role so please do not send any designers or admins.* *Job Description: * The Senior SharePoint (SP) Developer is responsible for performing solution design, development, maintenance, enhancements, customization and integration as a member of the corporate development team. *Job Responsibilities* • Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective solutions meeting business requirements and leveraging SP capabilities. • Create technical design documents by translating business and functional requirements into system requirements, prototype and implement solutions. Ensure performance, reliability, scalability meet enterprise needs. • Provide design documents, participate in code reviews, collaborate with contract and internal development resources. • Enhance existing solutions through review and recommending improvements, upgrades or migration to newer technologies. • Coordinate solution development work with business analysts to ensure adequate requirements are established and SP capabilities are exploited. *Job Qualification* • 5+ years development knowledge and experience with the SP 2010 and SP 2013 (Hands-on project experience with SP 2013 is strongly desired, but is not an absolute requirement. Advanced experience in SP 2010 is required.) • Design and develop SharePoint solutions using Client Object Model (ECMAScript aka CSOM); Server Object Model (.Net Framework, C#, ASP.Net); HTML, CSS, REST services, JavaScript, jQuery and workflow solutions using Nintex Workflow 2010 • Software development experience including Website design and development experience using Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio, JAVA Script, Web Services, etc. • Integration and troubleshooting of SharePoint custom developed web parts /features/workflows/timer jobs and web services using Visual Studio * Required Skills* • Experience in SP-based enterprise line of business applications including integrations with heterogeneous technologies. • Experience providing estimates, managing project scope to meet time and budget objectives, working independently as well as with a team, working with cross-functional teams and external resources, handle multiple ongoing projects. • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Able to provide and receive feedback in a team environment, possess strong commitment to good process and a high standard of quality. Critical thinking and problem solving for both proactive solution development and problem resolution and system improvements. * Desired Skills* • Working knowledge of K2 Blackpearl workspaces and integration with SharePoint • C, C++, Pro C and Visual Basic 6 Programming Experience. • Experience developing PowerShell scripts. • Demonstrated experience working in an Agile development environment using Scrum.
