*GENERAL INFORMATION:* *Minimum total experience: 10+ years* *Task Order Group#1: Project Management Operations (PMO)* *Posting Title: Quality Assurance Analyst * *Level: Level 2 * *Location: Jackson Graham Building* *Duration of Project: 1920 Hours + extensions* *Number of Positions: One (1)* *Visa: Open* *Priority: High* *F2F interview: Not applicable* *Interview mode: 2 technical telephonic rounds.* *Rate: $50/hr on C2C* *Visa copy, Driver's license copy: Not required* *Exclusivity form: MUST* *MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE**: QA + BA* *PROJECT SCOPE:* *looking for an experienced Business Analyst/tester - Quality Assurance Analyst that brings a combination and technical and business expertise deploying large software implementations for a transit industry. * *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* *• Evaluate and test new or modified software programs and software development procedures used to verify program functions according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines* *• Write, revise and verify quality standards and test procedures for program design* *• Monitor computer during program testing to detect error codes or interruption of program and correct errors* *• Test programs to locate and correct program operating error following installation of programs* *• Conduct compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs to monitor program performance after implementation to prevent reoccurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation* *• Provide documentation to describe program evaluation, testing and required corrections* *• Develop utility programs to test software, track and verify defects in software programs* *• Devise and/or modify procedures to solve complex problems regarding computer equipment capacity, limitations, operating time and desired results to meet WMATA's business needs* *• Write programs to create new procedures or modify existing procedures* *• Create test plans, test scripts and plan projects based on the analysis of technical specifications* *• Review functional specifications and create/review test cases* *• Document, track and communicate test results, and analyze unresolved problems* *REQUIRED SKILLS:* *• Work on all project phases including fit/gap, configuration, and testing* *• Seek ways to improve the process of delivering solutions, sharing knowledge to continually improve overall implementation methodology* *• Review new or modified programs and provide documentation, diagrams and flow charts to determine if the program will perform according to user requirements and guidelines* *• Recommend program improvements or corrections to programmers, review computer operating logs to identify program processing errors, and enter instructions into computer to test program for validity of results, accuracy, reliability and conformance to establishment standards. * *• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with coursework in such areas as mathematics, statistics, accounting, and/or business administration* *• Experience in development, deployment and enforcement of quality assurance procedures and standards.* *• Experience in all phases of Application Life cycle including systems analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation and maintenance* *• Experience in developing test criteria, test plans and conducting application testing with expert level experience in designing, implementing and documenting test plans and test cases* *• Ability to scope, plan and schedule activities related to software quality assurance, testing and configuration management* *• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written that display analytical capabilities.* *• Experience with Rational Jazz Application Lifecycle Management Suite * *• Knowledge of and experience with STAT is a plus* *• Experience with PeopleSoft HR/Payroll or Finance modules with specific experience testing PeopleSoft applications is a plus* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Visa Transfer OPT, CPT, PT, H1,H4" group.
