*GENERAL INFORMATION:* In-person Interview MUST after telephonic round Role: BI Developer (Cognos) Location: Phoenix, AZ Rate: $40/hr on C2C Priority: Very High Job type: Contract Pay-terms: C2C Total experience: Preferably 9 years Level: Senior Visa: Open Need someone local or with in the driving distance to client site for F2F interview. We are open to accept profile from distant locations as well. F2F/In-Person interview expenses must be taken care by the consultant/employer/vendor. MUST HAVE SKILLS visible on the resume: COGNOS V8.4 or V10.1, SQL database *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Participation in requirement meetings with end-users to understand and collect Business Intelligence (BI) report and Web content needs. · Document functional and technical specifications; · Develop BI analytical and reporting solutions based on user needs. · Develop and maintain interfaces using Cognos SDK. · Develop SQL queries & stored procedures. · Responsible for developing and maintaining business report requests, dashboards, and dashboard widgets, which support internal and external customers · Confer with programmers and architects to gain understanding of needed changes and/or modifications of existing framework and reports · Write and maintain documentation · Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference · Provide training, support and best practices for ad hoc query users, Business Author and Professional Author · May require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported *REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: * · Minimum two years’ experience working with COGNOS V8.4 or V10.1 · Business Objects experience desirable. · Experience with Framework Manager Required · Working knowledge of SQL · Prior experience in database design, programming in relational databases. · Good understanding of databases · Experience creating multi-prompt reports with drill-through capabilities · Experience scheduling and monitoring jobs · Four-year college degree -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Visa Transfer OPT, CPT, PT, H1,H4" group.
