*Role : Sr. Network Admin (LAN/WLAN Administrator) Location : Pittsburgh, PA Duration : 12+ Months Interview : Phone then Face to Face * *First round will most likely be a phone and the final round will be in-person, no exceptions to this. * *Job Description:* · Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or a related field plus 10 year of industry experience. *Must Have * · 5+ years of recent *LAN and WLAN* experience required · Cisco experience required · Experience in network communications related to TCP/IP, sub-netting, routing, VPN, network authentication · Operating system support, including security, configuration, software updates, system diagnosis, debugging, tuning and advanced troubleshooting in Cisco · Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or a related field plus ten (10) years of experience in a related position. *Job Responsibilities* · Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. · Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. · Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. · Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. *Experience must include: * o Performing project and proactive work to optimize LAN/WLAN environment; o Maintaining Cisco and/or HP/Aruba network devices, configuring and documenting network devices; o Support and document IP networks, must have experience with sub-nets and concepts of routing o Engineer, document and implement new networks; o Providing operating system support, including security, configuration, software updates, system diagnosis, debugging, tuning and advanced troubleshooting in Cisco and Aruba systems; o Experience in network communications related to TCP/IP, sub-netting, routing, VPN, network authentication; and o Determining issues and creating solutions for complex problems o Network documentation, creating and updating network topologies/diagrams, tracking equipment lifecycle and warranty.
