*Role : UI/UX Designer* *Location : Chicago, IL (downtown Loop)* *Duration : 6-12 Months * *Interview : Phone then Face to Face * *Responsibilities:* You will be the main driver in designing a responsive web based Private Equity analytics product. You will be responsible for the entire process of design, user flow, wireframe, prototype, and pixel perfect final design for the modern web & mobile applications. - Organize diverse business requirements and design user journeys into intuitive, coherent, easy-to-navigate user interfaces. - Create detailed journey maps, wireframes, prototypes and visual design comps. - Work with other designers and programmers to achieve strong visual and technological solutions without sacrificing usability. - Maintain, update, and refine brand and style guidelines working with the marketing team. *Qualifications:* - Proven success designing mobile experiences on both native app and responsive design. - Familiarity with all aspects of user centered design methodology. - Extensive experience *wireframing and prototyping.* - Understand User Experience as a whole as it relates to customer experience, not just the visual user interface. - Understanding of modern web technologies & platforms: HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript. - Ability to facilitate ideation sessions, exploring alternate design options in order to discover optimal solutions. - Ability to clearly communicate detailed flows and reasoning behind design decisions utilizing various data points. - Experience translating usability findings into design decisions. - Knowledge of accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG). - 5+ years of related experience including visual and interaction design. - Extensive hands-on experience with one or more interactive prototyping tools such as Axure, Sketch, InVision. - Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction, Communications Design or related field is a plus.
